Eclipse Shadows

During the next eclipse, notice that the shadows cast by trees are suddenly different. The tiny gaps between leaves act as pinhole lenses, projecting crescent shaped images of the partially eclipsed sun onto the ground below. So during the next eclipse, don't just look up . . . look down also.
